Shared Visions Foundation - Working Together to Close the Gap Between Needs and Resources

What We Do

Shared Visions Foundation realizes that sufficient support is vital to a nonprofit's ability to serve the community. Far too often, nonprofit agencies are faced with the challenge of meeting their needs with limited resources. The Foundation seeks to close the gap between needs and resources, particularly in the area of Mental Health, by working with nonprofit organizations through service and monetary grants.

Service grants usually focus on social entrepreneurship, networking, collaboration and capacity building, including strategic and financial planning.

Each year, Shared Visions Foundation awards modest monetary grants. Past grantees have included Interfaith Council, Housing for New Hope, Playmakers Repertory Company, The ArtsCenter, Cornucopia House, Piedmont Wildlife Center, Mental Health Association of Orange County, Human Kindness Foundation, Music Makers Relief Foundation, Urban Ministries of Durham, Family Violence Prevention, Community Autism Initiative, Democracy NC, First in Families, The Women's Center, NC- Warn, Threshold, Charles House, Freedom House and El Centro Latino.
